The ingredients needed to make Cocktail Eggs:
  1. Make ready 3-4 Boiled eggs
  2. Get 2-3 boiled potatoes
  3. Prepare 1/2 bowl semolina (suji / rava)
  4. Make ready 1 onion finely chopped
  5. Prepare As required Cornflour slurry
  6. Prepare As per taste Salt
  7. Prepare As per taste Black pepper
  8. Get As per taste Chilli flakes
  9. Take 1 spoon Lemon juice
  10. Prepare As required Oil (to fry)
Steps to make Cocktail Eggs:
  1. In a bowl mash the potatoes adding onion, salt, chilli, black pepper & lemon juice. Make a dough and keep aside.
  2. Now clean boiled eggs. Take a portion from the potato mixture flattened it out on your palm place the whole egg in the middle and overlap it with the mixture as shown in picture.
  3. Dip the egg potato ball in cornflour slurry (1/2 bowl cornflour mixted 2 spoonfull of water)
  4. Soon after the slurry bath give your roll a dip of semolina. Heat oil in a pan and fry it. Cut in half & serve with your favourite dip / sauce/ ketchup/ chutney/ bhujiya for extra crunch. Salad goes really well with it. Cocktail Eggs are ready to serve.
